Today we want to share the story of our most recent listing appointment. They were first-time home sellers moving out of the country in 60 days and exploring who they’d trust to sell their home. We were the third agents being interviewed, as they were examining both the discount and full-service options to sell their home. Here’s how we showed up serving these very selective sellers.

First, we were listening to understand and asking questions of clarity. We asked questions like, “What are you looking for in a Realtor?” and “What are you looking for in your real estate experience?” Then we listened to understand, waiting for them to finish before we shared our thoughts.

Second, we had a step-by-step action plan. Our proactive approach gave them peace of mind, as we provided support with our ancillary networks of painters, stagers, and photographers. These simple next steps gave them focus and understanding of what was to be anticipated throughout the home sale process. These steps also reassured them that their home would be ready to show on time and for top dollar.

Third, we provided transparency by providing the sellers a net sheet, which is a document that discloses all closing costs and what a seller can expect to walk away with after closing.

In the end, the feedback was that our full-service, transparent approach to simplifying their home sale was the right way to go. Simplifying your home sale is our goal. We appreciate the opportunity to make real estate simple during your home sale process.

If you ever have any questions or real estate needs, don’t hesitate to give us a call. We’d love to help you. Make it a great week!
